Here is a quick summary of what we have been up to in 3Q. From market traction to our latest trips around the world to meet with customers, it has been a busy quarter.
The Ares team traveled to Busan, South Korea to attend the International Meeting on Information Display 2017. Our VP of Business Development, Dr. Tolis Voutsas, introduced our company and technology to an audience with representatives of the most important display manufacturers. We had tremendous interest from partners at all different levels of the display value chain.
Important milestones were checked off the list recently. We completed key customer demos of flexible color filters and received validation of our film formation process from Pylux resin outside our lab. Moreover, we demonstrated that our coating and curing process can be easily extended for the formation of ultra-thin films. Several customer presentations have highlighted the need for plastic materials with low optical retardation for flexible AMLCD and AMOLED applications. This is terrific news for Ares because the Pylux family of materials is among the only electronic-grade polymer films to offer a retardation on the order of display-grade glass. This strongly enhances our value proposition for flexible display applications in automotive and signage.
Ares Materials has won the IDTechEX Launchpad award. Ares are one of only 10 companies to be selected and invited to present at the IDTechEx conference in November, the biggest US event in flexible and printable electronics. Come by our booth and learn more about us.
See for yourself. We are going to be in Santa Clara for the IDTechEx show in November 14-16 and we invite you to stop by our booth. If you are missing the event but still want to know more about Ares please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org; we would love to hear from you.
